George E.J. Diner Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Green Architecture
Mr. Diner recycles empty shipping containers, transforming them into livable habitats
MIAMI, FL, November 28, 2011 /Natural Resources PR News/ -- George E.J. Diner, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Habitat Container SRL, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in green architecture.
As the founder and CEO of Habitat Container SRL, Mr. Diner supervises his employees and manages construction experiments that focus on the use of recycled ISO shipping containers to create usable habitats. He also experiments with new sustainable products, including paints, cellulose insulation, and thermal and P.V. collectors. He became involved in his profession because he wanted to help reduce global climate change through recycling and the use of sustainable energy. The visionary Mr. Diner first used recycled ISO containers, which are also known as intermodal containers, to construct his own offices during his presidency of Albanueva SA, a nautical gated community in Rincon de Milberg, Tigre, Argentina. Built in 1978, the offices are still in use today.
Mr. Diner studied engineering at the University of Buenos Aires and Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. He also has expertise in international business administration and commerce. He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and ISBU Information. Mr. Diner hopes to eventually conduct lectures on sustainability within the field of construction.
