Water Efficiency Magazine Announces Winner of Its ACE 11 iPad Contest
Water Efficiency magazine and Forester Media Inc. today announced the winner of the AWWA ACE 11 "Ready, Set, Share!" contest.
SANTA BARBARA, CA, August 10, 2011 /Natural Resources PR News/ -- Water Efficiency magazine and Forester Media Inc. today announced the winner of the ACE "Ready, Set, Share!" contest: Aaron Boulton-Chaykowski, B.Sc., a Water Management Technician for the City of Calgary, won a black, 16gb iPad.
Chosen by a random drawing, the winner was picked entries received from ACE 11 attendees who entered the contest online and uploaded photos of their visit to the Water Efficiency booth at ACE 11. The contest was initially created by Forester Media Inc. and Water Efficiency magazine as part of their new Water Efficiency Community Corner website.
"The strong response to our contest reflects how social media has changed and enhanced the way we interact with colleagues and industry experts," said Dan Waldman, President of Forester Media Inc and publisher of Water Efficiency magazine.
The "Water Efficiency Community Corner" is a new, interactive Web feature that allows users to keep track of the latest happenings at various industry events. Attendees can access information about the event while also uploading images and sharing their own insights via Twitter and Facebook.
"We are excited about this opportunity to connect with our readers," said Water Efficiency editor Elizabeth Cutright. "We are proud to be able to provide our audience with a way to interact with us, and their colleagues, at industry events like ACE 11."
