Mr. Stagg is the Founder and Director of JGS Expediting and Consulting PLC. John established the company after he decided to promote his business as an independent contractor working for the companies that supported him throughout his professional career. He serves as Senior Planner, overseeing the company's consulting services. John is a highly experienced and skilled senior buyer, senior coordinator, senior expediter and senior logistics planner who is capable of coordinating all aspects of the procurement tasks in the Oil and Gas industry.
John's background consists of 23 years in the EPC home office environment of petrochemical plant construction, offshore rig fabrication and upstream component manufacturing, including 13 years of field material control. Mr. Stagg grew up working on construction projects with his father. He attributes his success to his positive attitude to" pay it forward." John is quite proud of his role in being a father, grandfather and husband.
During his educational career, Mr. Stagg earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. John is a member of the Expediting Management Association, Houston Supply Chain Professionals, Oil and Gas Professionals, Oil and Gas People, Greater Houston Expediting Management Association, and the Institute for Supply Management. Mr. Stagg promotes himself as a Sr. Project Expediter, Supply Chain Material Management professional and Purchasing, Logistics and Principal Procurement Coordinator. He has been an employee asset and had the good fortune to work for C.F. Braun, Litwin E & C, Raytheon E & C, ABB Lummus, Chicago Bridge & Iron, Foster Wheeler-BP, WorleyParsons-BP and Intertek WISco-Transocean.
