Rodney Smith, President of Strategic Water Management, participated in the panel discussion "Managing Our Groundwater Resources for the Future" at the 2008 Annual Meeting of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists in Las Vegas, NV on November 10th.
CLAREMONT, CA, November 13, 2008 /Natural Resources PR News/ -- Rodney Smith, President of Strategic Water Management, participated in a panel discussion on "Managing Our Groundwater Resources for the Future" during the 2008 Annual Meeting of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists on November 10, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The panel also included four other noted experts in the fields of government, academia, and private industry.
This panel examined the role that applied geophysics will have in addressing the problem of assuring that there are adequate supplies of fresh water for the world. The panel also speculated on future progress and advances that are expected to occur in the field of applied geophysics.
