G.W. Exotic Animal Park Announces Amazing white Lion Birth of Quintuplets.
Two normal lions give birth to first only report of 5 white cubs in one litter.
/Natural Resources PR News/ - WYNNEWOOD, OK, July 19, 2008 - The G.W. Exotic Animal Park, an educational zoo located just south of Oklahoma City announced the birth of not one but five white lion cubs in the same litter. KFOR news out of Oklahoma City was first to break it to the world of this amazing birth. The strange part is the parents are brown. All five were born very healthy and are doing great. According to all the research that has been reported this is the largest single birth of white lions in one litter in the world. The last was in a zoo in Germany when two females gave birth at the same time totaling 7 cubs, but this was two litters. There are only close to 23 in the United States and 160 in the World with 80% of them in zoos in South Africa "says Joe Schreibvogel". Joe Schreibvogel "Park Director of the G.W. Animal Park" says it is An Amazing Miracle that the park was blessed with these babies. The cubs will be able to be viewed by the public the end of July "says" Joe, We don't want to stress them out or catch any germs from humans until there safely at least 4 weeks old. The park is home to over 138 big cats and nearly 1400 animals. The park is open 7 days a week 365 days a year.
